The roots of MERAKI
Lef grew up in a family of Olive oil producers waiting impatiently every year the time of harvest and olive production. Driven by a deep love for his roots, the village of Zacharo and a vision to redefine purity, Lef planted the seeds of this company with focus on helping local farmers and small producers with a passion for sharing the authentic flavors of his heritage.
In 2018, Lef turned these ideas and enthusiasm into MERAKI. He is the one who orchestrates every step of the journey, following the life of our products from the soil of the grove to the final experience of our customers.
The hands that nurture the soil & olives
Giannis is the heartbeat of our groves. He knows exactly when the temperature is right, when the terroir is thirsty, and the precise moment an olive is ready to give up its liquid gold.
Having growing up in Zacharo—the very place where our trees thrive and our olive oil is produced. To Giannis, the field isn't just a workplace; it's where the soul of Meraki begins, long before the first bottle is ever filled."

They say Meraki is about putting your soul into what you do. Anna's job is to make sure that soul is never compromised. While others focus on the harvest, Anna focuses on the promise we make to you: that what you see on our label is exactly what we've poured our hearts into.
Anna is a food engineer with experience in food quality and regulatory management. Her role at Meraki is to make sure that piece is protected, documented, and delivered to your table with absolute transparency.
